SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hrs M.S.T: During the past (24)hours, rain or thundershowers has been fairly widespread in Southern Shan and Kayah States, scattered in Bago and Taninthayi Regions, Eastern Shan State and isolated in Mandalay and Magway Regions with isolated heavyfalls in Mandalay Region. Weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Day temperatures were (5°C) to (6°C) above May average temperatures in Sagaing and Magway Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Kayin and Mon States, (3°C) to (4°C) above May average temperatures in Naypyitaw, Mandalay, Bago, Yangon, Ayeyarwady and Taninthayi Regions, Chin and Kayah States and (2°C) above May average temperatures  in Shan (South and East ) and Rakhine States.The significant day temperatures were (46°C) in Chauk, (45°C)each in Myinmu and Sinbyugyun and (44°C)each in Monywa, Yeu, Kyemone(Agro-Met), Myingyan, Minbu, Magway and Pauk. The noteworthy amount of rainfall recorded were (1.50) inches in Yamethin, (0.60) inch in Phyu, (0.55) inch in Nyaung Shwe, (0.43) inch in Taunggyi, (0.36) inch in Loikaw, (0.32) inch in Launglon and (0.20) inch in Lunkyaw(Agro-Met). 

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is partly cloudy to cloudy over the Andaman Sea and South Bay and a few cloud elsewhere over the Bay of Bengal.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL MORNING OF THE 12th May, 2020: Rain or thundershowers will be fairly widespread in Southern Shan State, scattered in Taninthayi Region, Eastern Shan and Kayah States and isolated in Naypyitaw, Upper Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway and Bago Regions, Kachin, Northern Shan, Chin, Kayin and Mon States. Degree of certainty is (80%). Weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.

STATE OF THE SEA: Sea will be moderate in Myanmar waters. Wave height will be about (5-7) feet off and along Myanmar Coasts.

OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated to scattered rain or thundershowers in Upper Sagaing Region and Kachin State.
